After Saturday's win over Georgia, Tennessee is exactly halfway through the SEC season, having negotiated the first leg of the journey with a 3-5 league record. That's not exactly a record-setting pace, but it is considerably better than most 'experts' had the Vols' slotted for in the preseason.
