Bray readies for scrimmage, OL adjusting
Lighting up the scrimmage stat book has never been a staple in the Tyler Bray era at the University of Tennessee. Last week in the Vols' first major scrimmage of the spring, Bray was just 13 of 32 for 142 yards a touchdown and an interception.
Bray has spent the week tweaking some things mechanically and is expecting better results after an inaccurate outing a week ago.
"When my accuracy gets off, it's my footwork - just dropping back and being lazy," Bray said. "I just need to pick up my tempo, and the team tempo will pick up, too.
"Just stepping in the hole and just stepping across. Just little things. It takes a little time. I mean, I've been doing the same thing since I was little, so it kind of creates a habit you've got to break. So it takes a little while."
