Vols ready for spring game

Mychal Rivera is going to skip taunting his friendly adversaries with a bottle of steak sauce for Saturday's Orange & White Game inside Neyland Stadium.

Instead, Tennessee's rising senior tight end is going to dispense the losing meal in advance of the 2:30 p.m. kickoff, which features free admission and complimentary on-campus parking for fans. Rivera is part of the first-team offense, which highlights the White squad roster, and will be facing an Orange team comprised primarily of many of the Vols' projected defensive starters.

"Give them their hot dogs a little early. I'm just going to bring some hot dogs for them, so they can have them a day early," Rivera said. "(Trash talking) started (Wednesday) night. As soon as the rosters came out.

"It was a bunch of my roommates, they were coming in 'Orange team! Orange team! You're on the White team! You're on the White team!' But it's all fun and games, but we're going to be really competitive and we're going to find out."
