Dyer Co.'s Hubbs blowing up this spring

Adding size in the 2013 class is a large priority for Cuonzo Martin and his Tennessee staff in this recruiting cycle, but the Vols also have their eyes set on one of the biggest perimeter prizes in this class. Few players have seen their stock soar in recent months like Dyer Co.'s Robert Hubbs, now viewed as one of the top shooting guards in the nation.

Hubbs (6-foot-5, 180 pounds) was something of a known commodity in the recruiting world exiting last summer, but he's jumped several notches up the ladder in terms of recruiting prominence since then. He followed an outstanding junior season in which he helped Dyer Co. to a 30-2 record with a sterling showing in the April evaluation period in front of hordes of college coaches.

The result is that he's gone from outside the top-50 to inside the top-25 in the most recent rivals.com rankings, while seeing his offer list swell alongside his standing as a prospect.
