Lindsey making a summer splash

VolQuest.com Charlottesville, Va. -- Ever since starting for his high school team as a wildly talented eighth grader at Nashville's Christ Presbyterian Academy Jalen Lindsey has been accustomed to competing against older players. That experience has come in handy this week at the NBA Players Association Top 100 Camp where Lindsey is in the minority as one of the few 2014 prospects to snag an invite.
"I expected it to be intense, and it really has been, that's for sure," Lindsey said of the competition this week on the University of Virginia campus. "These are the best players in the country and you've got to come out every game ready to compete. That's how you get better though. It's great just to get a chance to measure yourself against these kind of players."
LIndsey (6-foot-7, 180) has shown that despite his age and the level of competition, he certainly belongs this week. A rangy athlete whose future is on the wing, Lindsey has excelled in open floor situations, displayed a solid handle and a willingness to go inside and battle.
