The NBA Players' Association Top-100 Camp, which wrapped up on Saturday at the University of Virginia in Charlottesville, as always, featured a plethora of high-level hoops talent. Among the Tennessee targets that secured a coveted invite was Memphis Melrose guard Markel Crawford, who was looking forward to the chance to test himself against the best players in the nation.

"It's a great opportunity, just to be here and work with the former NBA players that are helping to run the camp and then to go against the kind of talent that's here," Crawford observed. "It's pretty much the best of the best as far as players go.

"I mean, we're all used to playing against good competition in the summer with the way AAU ball is, but this is at the next level. Pretty much everybody here is the best player on their AAU or high school team, so it's just been a great test."

Crawford had an exceedingly solid week, displaying the toughness and well-rounded game that have made him a focal point for several high-major programs.
