Palardy ready for 2012 to begin

VolQuest.com Junior placekicker Michael Palardy finished last season 9 of 14 with a long of 52 yards at Alabama. But Palardy was just 3-for-7 on kicks between 30 and 50 yards. Consistency has been the obvious focus for the Florida native this summer.
As the summer comes to a close and fall camp opens in just more than two weeks, Palardy feels he's in a much different place as a kicker. For one, Palardy's healthy; something he has struggled with the last two summers. Secondly, he's confident.
"I feel great," Palardy said. "We have been charting all the kicks this off-season and I'm light-years ahead of where I have been the last couple of years. I feel great. I'm healthy and ready to go.
