Vols anxious to hit the field

VolQuest.com For college football fanatics--of which SEC country has more than a few--the last weeks before kickoff can drag on in the same interminable fashion that December could when you were an eight-year old waiting on Christmas. No doubt fans are anxious for the start of the season, but that sense of anticipation pales in comparison to what the players themselves feel with fall camp now just days away.
One player on the Tennessee roster who is most definitely feeling the excitement is sophomore offensive lineman Antonio 'Tiny' Richardson. A year ago Richardson was a highly anticipated newcomer who might have seriously challenged for sizable chunks immediate playing time if offseason shoulder surgery hadn't limited him early in training camp.
As it was, he still saw action in all 12 games and served notice that he had the potential to be a special player at what many term the most important position on the offensive line, left tackle.
