One of the biggest struggles Tennessee's defense had last year was generating a consistent pass rush. The lack of a pass rush was evident by the lack of sacks the Vols accumulated in 2011.

Tennessee ranked No. 100 in the country in sacks and No. 11 in the SEC after only tallying 16 sacks last season. But, help may be in on the way in terms of a more aggressive defense.
