Meeting helped Sentimore find his game

VolQuest.com The meeting was short and sweet. Junior college transfer Darrington Sentimore wasn't the only Vol defender to get the message from defensive coordinator Sal Sunseri.
But for Sentimore it rang loud and clear.
The message: perform as you did in spring practice and you won't play.
"Coach Sal brought me in his office, sat me down and told me I wasn't playing the way he wanted me playing," Sentimore acknowledged. "And that I wasn't playing the way he knew that I could play. So I had to go work on it. I knew what it was. It was me not being in shape. So this summer I busted my tail to get in shape and now coach Sal is pleased with me."
Everyone seems pleased with the former Alabama defensive lineman. Head coach Derek Dooley said Sentimore was playing his rear off and implied that he was night and day different from where he was in spring practice.
