Hood likes move back to nose

VolQuest.com ELIZABETHTON -- One depth chart move that took place this week wasn't entirely unexpected as junior Daniel Hood slid back inside to nose-guard after getting a long look at defensive end to begin camp. It's a move that Hood was happy to make, and one that the staff feels fits him better while also improving the defensive line depth.
"I'm primarily at nose right now, but I can move around and play different spots in different fronts. I like it in there, I think it's a better fit for me than end," Hood said of making the switch. "I feel a lot more comfortable in there. I can read things better in there, pre-snap I'm making better reads than I was at end.
