Vols hope to keep UF ground game bottled up

For all of the talk of Steve Spurrier's passing offenses of the 1990s and Urban Meyer's spread offense, one thing holds true in the Florida-Tennessee match-up: Whoever wins the rushing battle wins the game. That bit of history has been all the more obvious over Florida's seven-game winning streak over the Vols.

The Gators have averaged 154 rushing yards in their seven straight victories while the Vols have managed to average just 46 yards per contest against Florida. In Derek Dooley's two years at the helm in Knoxville, the Vols have mustered just 20 total yards in the two games.
