O-line keeps making a statement

VolQuest.com The losses mounted at an alarming rate for Tennessee in the month of October, making it increasingly difficult to appreciate what can in all honesty be called a runaway success story on the offensive line. Sure, it's easy to lose sight of when the Vols are heading into November looking for their first SEC win, but this front has exceeded all but the wildest preseason expectations.
That's saying something to, because no unit on the field caught as much flak in 2011 as the O-line, a group that has returned largely intact and transformed itself into one of the best in the SEC under first year coach Sam Pittman.
That was borne out on Saturday as the Vols rolled up 35 points and 472 yards of total offense against the No. 9 ranked defense in the nation.
