Head coach Derek Dooley admitted he thought about doing it, but didn't feel it was the right thing to do. If Dooley wants to have his best chance of winning out, he better never consider it again. That "it" has nothing to do with his defense, the status of his defensive coordinator, or his plan for trying to dig the worst defense in school history out of a scrap pile.
