Even in loss, Reeves-Maybin stands out

HENDERSONVILLE -- It was the perfect setup. One second left on the clock, Clarksville Northeast had the ball at the 30-yard line and one last shot to pull out the upset victory over top-ranked Hendersonville Beech High School and an opportunity for to add to his already ridiculous stat line and propel his team to the state semifinals.

Lining up as a receiver on the final play because of a torn labrum in his right, throwing shoulder, Reeves-Maybin jetted down the right sideline and teammate Marquez McCalpin heaved the ball toward the end zone.
