Vols look to get back on track tonight

VolQuest.com Jarnell Stokes couldn't remember his team scoring so few points since grade school.
Skylar McBee wasn't sure how many times he scored at least 36 points by himself in high school.
"A few times. A few times," McBee said, laughing. "But I think it's a little bit different. I don't think the defense was quite as good playing in high school.
"I think we recognize the things we did wrong and we see ways to improve that and see things that we need to do and have to do better in order to be more successful against the zone."
Tennessee basketball coach Cuonzo Martin said the Vols' woeful offensive performance against Georgetown's rangy zone last Friday in a 37-36 loss wouldn't alter his approach; nor did it change the fundamental principles his team must possess in order to be successful night in, night out.
"I think it's what teams do. You can try to put together a zone, but you have to be good at it. That's what you do. For me, it doesn't really matter. At the end of the day against any zone you've got to make shots. Flash to the middle and get the ball to the post," Martin said prior to the Vols' practice Monday inside Pratt Pavilion.
