Vols look stay on track tonight

VolQuest.com Tennessee (6-3) will be looking to keep the good times rolling tonight when the Vols welcome Western Carolina (4-7) to Knoxville. Tennessee has made the most of a long December home stand, and is after a third straight win to get the Christmas holidays off on the right foot.
The Vols extended home stand seems to have come at the perfect time on the calendar. A couple of desultory offensive performances led to back-to-back losses to Georgetown and Virginia earlier, seriously calling into question this team's ability to score points.
A two-game win streak hasn't completely put those questions put to bed yet, but the Vols have looked more adept at putting the ball in the basket in their two recent wins over Wichita State and Presbyterian on Tuesday, averaging 73.5 points per game in the two wins.
Though, as always, Cuonzo Martin is quick to point out that offense isn't where the bulk of his focus lies.
