For Tennessee head coach Butch Jones the verbal pledge from 2014 athlete Vic Wharton was a nice Christmas day present. For Jones it wasn't just that he received a commitment from a really good player. It was the message that Wharton's commitment sent that was also big for the Vols new head coach.
