Tennessee offered West Palm Beach, Fla., defensive end just over a week ago but were able to lure the 6-foot-3, 250-pound defensive end to Knoxville for and official visit and the Syrcause commitment left undecided on his future.

Although Brown's commitment is just weeks old, the Vols have put themselves firmly in the mix for Brown after impressing him during his official visit.
