I will got with the wide receiver position. Paul said it best Wednesday night in Nashville when talking about the receivers and that is they didn't get two guys who are really alike. It's a very diverse group of wideouts. Ryan Jenkins is a guy who can really make you miss in the open field with his quickness. Paul Harris is a guy who can use his size to his advantage and has clearly impressed the staff very early in his time in Knoxville. Josh Smith might be the most polished in terms of a route runner and can play any of the receiver positions thanks to the offense he played in while in high school. And then Marquez North is the most complete receiver of the group with his combination of size and speed. With the losses of Justin Hunter and Cordarrelle Patterson this group has to help quickly and it was a huge need in the class.

The wide receivers group probably will get the most nods in this department, but I'm probably going to go with the secondary. I think the staff gets a solid 'B' grade for its efforts here, one that would've been perhaps an 'A+' if a certain five-star had followed his indications of being a Vol. Still, Butch Jones & Co. inked players who can help immediately at a position in dire need of immediate help. The Vols were good at wide receiver a year ago and replenished their talent. But they were bad at DB and now have upgraded.
