Vols look to get back on track tonight

VolQuest.com Tennessee (17-11, 9-7) travels to Auburn (9-20, 3-13) tonight looking to get back on track after seeing a six game win streak come to an end over the weekend. It's a match-up of two teams heading in opposite directions, but the Vols have plenty to play for in the next to last game of the regular season.
The goal for the Vols is plain, get a win to stay in the chase for an NCAA tournament bid, a pursuit that seemingly has no margin for error after Saturdays' loss at Georgia.
Most projections still have the Vols in the field, but that spot looks tenuous, and it seems a foregone conclusion that a road win tonight and another in the home finale against Missouri on Saturday will be required to keep it.
Martin said this week that he believes his team is an NCAA tournament squad at the moment. But he also knows that a great deal can happen between now and Selection Sunday, and his team's best strategy is to leave as little to chance as possible.
"We don't really talk about what we have to do (in regards to the tournament) we just talk about winning basketball games. We say it all the time, it's one game at a time. We've won six of our last seven with that approach," Martin said of how he handles the high stakes of the final regular season.
