Some Vols in new spots this spring

VolQuest.com What would spring practice be without a couple of position changes to debate on the front end? Players moving into new homes is as much a part of spring as sunshine in the football crazy South, and Tennessee has several players who will get a look in a new role when practice opens on Saturday.
Of the two moves that have the highest potential to impact what happens on the field in 2013, neither comes as a huge surprise. One of those involves Devrin Young sliding out of the backfield to give being a full-time slot receiver a shot while Brent Brewer is moving down from safety to outside linebacker, at least for the time being.
Young has always been viewed as a threat with the ball in his hands, but his diminutive stature (5-9, 175 pounds) has always been a knock against him. Putting him in the slot is an obvious way to try and get him some touches where he's already in 'space' when he gets his hand on the ball.
