A much maligned defensive line group from last season returns mostly intact, losing only Darrington Sentimore who left Tennessee early to enter the NFL draft this year, is moving headstrong through another transition.

But, even though the group is the same, there is much change around them. A new position coach, the fifth one in five years for the group, and a new scheme, a switch back to a four-man front from the 3-4 that was a disaster under Sal Sunseri last season.
