Palardy puts best foot forward, Croom ready to roll
Michael Palardy didn't seem the least bit surprised that he was listed atop Tennessee's pre-camp depth chart at all three primary kicker positions.
The senior left-footer from South Florida exited the Vols' spring camp essentially in command at all three positions --- and told reporters on Thursday that he spent the last few months preparing as such.
"Personally, I think I can," Palardy said of handling all kicking chores. "Whatever the coaches have planned for me, they have planned for me. I went into the summer thinking I'm competing at all three positions.
"(Handling all three) keeps me on the field, and that's something I have wanted to do since I have been here and that's being on the field as much as I can whether it's punting, kickoffs, or field goals. The mentality of it going into my senior year is that I have done it before. I know what's expected of me and I know how to handle it. I think going into fall camp, I have handled it pretty well."\
