Thomas' size a rarity in Louisiana

Talented skill-position players are usually plentiful in the State of Louisiana.

Offensive lineman not so much.

Don't tell that to opponents of Istrouma High School.

Massive offensive tackle Dallas Thomas may be the biggest lineman in the state this season. Standing 6-6, 265-pounds, Thomas runs a 5.0 40-yard dash, benches 300, squats 450 and has a power clean of 225 pounds.

A vertical of 32', Thomas has yet to be officially offered a scholarship.

Expected to have no trouble qualifying academically, Thomas has yet to take the ACT, but does have a 2.5 GPA.
