Mike Rapp
VandySports.com In just five weeks, Vanderbilt will open their 2007-08 season against exhibition foe Tusculum. With basketball practice now in full swing, it's time to begin VandySports.com's in-depth analysis of this year's Commodore basketball program.
Today marks the first of a seven-part series of articles that bring a true insider's look at this year's team, coaches and schedule. In the first five stories, we'll break down each of the players on the team by position, beginning with the point guards. The sixth story will address coaching and intangibles, and the seventh will address the schedule.
Providing their insights will be VandySports.com publishers Mike Rapp, Jesse Johnson and Chris Lee. Also throwing in their two cents will be former Commodore star Drew Maddux, who is the head coach at Nashville's Christ Presbyterian Academy, and Rivals.com national college basketball analyst Andrwe Skwara.
We're off!
