Touring the Big 12: Missouri Tigers
There's a reason Gary Pinkel sounds like a veteran in addressing the soaring expectations that surround Missouri entering the fall: Pinkel was here a year ago. Just as chemistry, poise and talent helped the preseason favorite Tigers capture the Big 12 North for the first time in league history and finish with a school-record 12 wins and a No. 4 national ranking, Pinkel believes his team has all of the ingredients to do it again. And for good reason.

There was something different about the Missouri spring game on April 19. The cast? That was virtually the same. A majority of the 16 returning starters, including certain preseason Heisman candidates Chase Daniel and Jeremy Maclin, and likely preseason All-American Chase Coffman were on display and determined to conclude workouts carrying plenty of momentum.
