Vols Wrap Up Day Two

The opening of fall camp is always accompanied by any number of uncertainties whether its about freshmen, or new coaches or maybe new starters here and there. But one place where Tennessee looks completely set across the board is along the offensive line. The top six players and all five starters are back from the unit that finished last season and big things are expected of this bunch.

The veteran front will be leaned on early and often this fall. Job number one will be to ease the transition of Jonathan Crompton into the starting quarterback role. The easiest way to do that will be to pave the way for a reliable ground game for the new signal-caller to lean on.

With nearly the entire offense is back intact and Crompton has shown enough in his three years on campus that the transition under center looks as though it will be as seamless as those things ever get. But as the old saying goes, it all starts with the offensive line. Expectations are high, but this group is comfortable with that.
