Offense Won't Lose Sight of Balance, Tuesday Notes

VolQuest.com Among the considerable build up to the Florida game this week one storyline that will be beaten to death (and may be again here) is the importance of the run game. That's not surprising, and even less so to those familiar with the history in the series. What is a stunner though is just how dire things have been for Tennessee in the most recent two match-ups.
It's sort of a 'pick your poison' situation when trying to decide which specific stat best sums up the Vols' futility when it comes to the Gators and the ground game.
Is it the first half frustration of being out-gained 257 yards to 54 in the three first halves since Urban Meyer took over, illuminating that Tennessee couldn't establish the line of scrimmage early in the contest?
