Stephens Settles In, More Sunday Notes

VolQuest.com So far the 2008 season hasn't been short on either drama or disappointment for the Tennessee football team. Last week's drama centered around a suddenly open quarterback competition. This week's drama concerns how the new quarterback who emerged from that competition will fare in his first SEC road start as the Vols travel to Athens to face Georgia.
Sophomore Nick Stephens came out of last week as the starter under center, and Phillip Fulmer confirmed that his 10-of-17 effort for 156 yards and a touchdown (and no interceptions) against Northern Illinois was enough to cement him as the starter going forward.
