Quarterback Nick Stephens admits he wasn't overly nervous Saturday night in his first career start, but the Texas native acknowledged stepping onto the field in a 0-0 game was a bit different.

"I wasn't really nervous for the first start," Stephens said. "I did have butterflies. It was kind of surreal to be honest with you being out there with it 0-0 on the scoreboard. It was fun. It's one of those things where experience makes you better and that's what it was. It was experience and leading up to this Saturday it obviously helps."

Since Saturday night, Stephens has become some what of a star as everyone is trying to befriend the Texas native.
