With basketball coaches around the country hitting the road for the all-important fall-contact window, September is among the most crucial months on the recruiting calendar. That's certainly true in Knoxville where the staff took a break from the road this weekend to host a pair of official visitors, including Memphis shooting guard Chris Crawford.

Crawford (6-foot-4, 185 pounds), from Sheffield High School, made his first official visit of the recruiting process to Tennessee this weekend, and as a result, the Vols appear to be solidly in the mix to land him.
