Turns out LaMarcus Thompson can handle a chip block and a chip shot with relatively equal aplomb. The Lithonia, Ga., native had little experience on which to draw this season in his first year as a starter for the Vols, but he's responded in solid form with a team-best six tackles-for-losses in six games played. And he's got a skill-set that extends far beyond the green of the football field -- not to mention a triple major in sports management, communication studies and political science.
