Senior tailback Montario Hardesty only needs 169 yards to hit the 1,000-yard mark for the season. The feat will be a big achievement for the injury-plagued North Carolina native who is a former Rivals.com top 100 player.
Hardesty, who has been labeled as the prototypical player for his system by head coach Lane Kiffin, has plenty on his side trying to help him into the thousand-yard club.
