It's the nature of the SEC, a big-time conference with smalltown roots, that you'll typically see some personal ties between opponents on fall Saturdays. Plenty of players in the league have former high school teammates on the other sidelines, but not many have the kind of family-tie to Mississippi State that Vols' sophomore center Josh McNeil will take into the game on Saturday.
