Knoxville (Tn.) Butler running back Dennis Rogan has picked up his first scholarship offer of the season with Virginia Tech being the first school to step up to the plate. Rogan, a 5-foot-11, 178-pound tailback also excels as a kick returner, punt returner, wideout and safety. As a junior, Rogan rushed for nearly 2,300 yards and led the state in touchdowns scored with 39 earning him all-state honors and a finalist for Mr. Football in the state of Tennessee.
