Last season was a big one for Lakeland (Fla.) Evangel Christian athlete Art Evans. Following up a sophomore year when he recorded nine interceptions, the 6-foot-1, 175-pound Evans knew he had to follow it up with a big junior season. He did so by posting tremendous numbers on both sides of the football and garnering Class 1B all-state accolades for his play.
