Vols in the NFL report
Here's a surprise former Vol and future Hall of Fame quarterback Peyton Manning had another big day as the Colts remain unbeaten Sunday afternoon with an easy win at home. Get an update on Manning's day as well as how all the former Vols did in the NFL including Saints defensive back Jabari Greer who had a huge day. It's all in our Monday Vols in the NFL report.
Erik Ainge, qb, New York Jets (2004-2007). Ainge did not play in the Jets 24-10 loss to the Saints
Jason Allen,db, Miami Dolphins (2002-2005). Allen was inactive on Sunday.
Robert Ayers, de/lb, Denver Broncos (2005-2008). Two tackles including one for minus yards in the Broncos 17-10 win over the Cowboys.
Kevin Burnett, lb, San Diego Chargers (2000-2004). Six tackles in the Chargers 38-28 loss to the Steelers.
Dustin Colquitt, p, Kansas City Chiefs (2001-2004). Seven punts for a 48.4 yard average in the Chiefs 27-16 loss to the Giants.
Brad Cottam, te, Kansas City Chiefs (2004-2007) Cottam didn't have a catch in the Chiefs 27-16 loss to the Giants.
Shaun Ellis, dl, New York Jets (1997-1999) Two tackles in the Jets 24-10 loss to the Saints.
Aubreyo Franklin, dl, San Francisco 49ers (2003-2004) Four tackles in the 49ers 35-0 win over the Rams.
Omar Gaither, lb, Philadelphia Eagles (2002-2005). The Eagles had a bye.
Deon Grant, s, Seattle Seahawks (1997-1999). Five tackles and a pass deflection in the Seahawks 34-17 loss to the Colts.
Jabari Greer, db, New Orleans Saints (2000-2003). Six tackles and three pass deflections in the Saints 24-10 win over the Jets.
Parys Haralson, de, San Francisco 49ers (2002-2005). Two tackles in the 49ers 35-0 win over the Rams.
Albert Haynesworth, dt, Washington Redskins (1999-2001). Haynesworth didn't play due to injury.
John Henderson, dt, Jacksonville Jaguars (1999-2001). One tackle and one pass deflection in the 37-17 win over the Titans.
Mark Jones, wr, Tennessee Titans (2000-2003) Jones had 3 kickoff returns for 63 yards and one punt return for 8 yards in the Titans 37-17 loss to the Jaguars.
Jamal Lewis, rb, Cleveland Browns (1997-1999). Lewis didn't play due to injury in the Browns 23-20 loss to the Bengals.
Leonard Little, de, St. Louis Rams (1995-1997). Three tackles including a sack in the Rams 35-0 loss to the 49ers.
Peyton Manning, qb, Indianapolis Colts (1994-1997). Mannnig was 31 of 41 for 353 yards with 2 touchdowns and an interception in the Colts 34-17 manhandling of the Seahawks.
Jerod Mayo, lb, New England Patriots (2005-2007). Mayo is out for at least a month with a knee injury.
Turk McBride, dl, Detriot Lions (2003-2006). McBride did not record a tackle in the Lions 48-24 loss to the Bears.
Tony McDaniel, dt, Miami Dolphins (2003-2005) Three tackles including one for minus yards in the Dolphins 38-10 win over the Bills.
Robert Meachem, wr, New Orleans Saints (2003-2006) One catch for 13 yards in the Saints 24-10 win over the Jets
Marvin Mitchell, lb, New Orleans Saints (2002-2006). Mitchell did not play in the Saints 24-10 win over the Jets.
Donte Stallworth, wr, Cleveland Browns (1999-2001). Stallworth is suspended for the season.
Jonathan Wade, cb, St. Louis Rams (2002-2006) Two tackles in the Rams 35-0 loss to the 49ers.
Kelly Washington, wr, Baltimore Ravens (2001-2002) Four catches for 31 yards in the Ravens 27-21 loss to the Patriots.
Gibril Wilson, s, Miami Dolphins (2002-2003). Two tackles in the Dolphins 38-10 win over the Bills.
Jason Witten, te, Dallas Cowboys (2000-2002). Four catches for 31 yards in the Cowboys 17-10 loss to the Broncos.
