I'm 65 years old, with a wonderful wife, Alice, (who btw is a fifth grade teacher and the best educator I've ever seen, bar none!). We have two sons Brad and Andy. I graduated from Bearden High School, where I played football under Ermel (sp?) Howard. Went to UT, and did not have a clue. Tried a second time, same result. Joined the ANG and ended up in electronics (data communications, cryto etc.) When I got out I tried UT again, no luck, just could not handle the multitude of distractions. My AFC got me a job with ORNL in the electronics maintenance section. Got lucky and got in on the ground floor of networking and moved to Data Research and Development for other Gov. Agencies. That job was a blast. Took early retirement and ended up part owner of a screenprinting Co. Also during that time line Alice and I participated in UT's Hunter Hills and Carosel productions, she helped with costumes and makeup and I was a dancer/choreographer. Also, mixed in was Girl Scouts, Boy Scouts, 4-H Livestock shows (the boys each raised and showed both Hampshire and Southdown breeds) along with soccer (coach and ref and commish, basketball (JR Pro, AAU, YBOA, etc.), football (just watched decided to let someone else coach for a change). All the normal stuff parents involve their kids in to keep them busy.
