This may be an old discussion but does anyone know why we are probably not going to get the only two Tennessee recruits that are premium 5 star recruits? I know one has us in his list but things do not look that good. Next question is why it looks like we are signing two and three star recruits. It seems like we were just in the running for only elite recruits and now we will suit up anyone who will accept a bid. I could be wrong. I hope I am but three star recruits? From previous reading these guys were looking at Tennessee and now they are not. Give me hope someone?

If you didn't notice, our former coach lied to the NCAA and got canned leaving the program in a bind. Stokes is from Memphis where no kids come to Tennessee. Might have got em both if we hadn't lied.

The word at the time was that they were not trying to be persuaded. As in no attempt. Now they are.

Actually, the fact that Stokes chose not to sign in the early period is a huge positive for UT. It tells me that he wants a chance to evaluate the Vols under Cuonzo before he makes his decision. His ties to UT are far stronger than his ties to other programs, since both his brother and his best friend are UT students.
