Parting thoughts after the Kentucky game
Vanderbilt got a much-needed 38-8 victory over Kentucky on Saturday, and VandySports.com's Jesse Johnson and Chris Lee have some final thoughts on what it meant.
1. Wesley Johnson has an argument for offensive MVP to this point of the season.
Zac Stacy continues to provide Vanderbilt with its best running threat in at least a decade. Jordan Rodgers has been terrific at quarterback, and Jordan Matthews is showing both big-play ability and consistency.
But as coach James Franklin noted earlier in the week, the offense started playing better when the offensive line started playing better. And among the lineman, perhaps nobody is playing better than Wesley Johnson.
