Vols' commit Landry excited about future

With the re-opened April evaluation window resulting in an explosion of college coaches hitting the road for past two weeks, recruiting hit another gear in the college basketball world. Tennessee commitment Travon Landry was immune to much of the madness engulfing his peers though, having made his college decision months ago.

Landry (6-foot-0, 175 pounds) from Bob Jones Academy in Madison, Ala. committed to Cuonzo Martin and the Vols early in his junior season, back in December, and as the summer season starts, he's more and more comfortable with that decision.

"I'm really happy with my commitment," Landry said of how things stood after several months of living with the decision. "It wasn't anything I jumped into. My parents and I talked about the situation a lot before I committed, I felt like it was a great situation at the time and getting to know the coaches more, I feel like it's an even better decision now."
