Pearl pushes Hopson's buttons, more upset talk

What a week for Scotty Hopson. The sophomore began it on the bench at Florida on Tuesday night, the first time all season he hasn't been in the starting line-up. He responded to that move with 20 points in a losing effort, but regained his starting job and ended his week by nailing the game-clinching three-pointer against second-ranked Kentucky.

To say that it was a big shot for personal reasons for the Hopkinsville, Ky. native is probably understating the matter to significant degree.

Kentucky fans can probably blame former head coach Billy Gillespie for Hopson never really considering the 'Cats, and Saturday's shot in the final minute gave those fans one more reason to regret that particular hire. As if they needed another.
