Ellis continues to expand game

From the moment Perry Ellis made his debut as a freshman at Wichita (KS) Heights High School, great things were expected. In fact, during his very first game, Kansas head coach Bill Self sat courtside just to get a closer look at the 6-foot-8, 210-pound combo-forward. Shortly thereafter, the Jayhawks extended a scholarship offer to Ellis, the No. 26 ranked player in the 2012 class. So, it should come as no surprise that Self and members of his staff closely followed Ellis during the first half of the July evaluation period.
