Florida DE will visit Oregon

A lot has been discussed about Oregon's new look defense recently. Speed and versatility at the defensive end position is a must in Oregon's system. At DE they need a player who is solid in the pass rush and yet can drop back into the middle of the field and defend against the short passes to tight ends and running backs. Hybrid players are becoming more and more valuable to teams that are adapting their defenses to match the speed of the spread offenses that are rapidly growing in popularity in the world of college football. Jordan Williams (Gainesville, Fla.) is just such a player, and Oregon has had their eye on Williams for a while.
