Creer trying to visit all five of his favorites

Coming off their national championship, the Texas Longhorns have cleaned up in-state this year, all but locking down the best of the best from the Lone star State. The exception has been Tatum, Texas, running back Lennon Creer. The four-star, Rivals100 member is down to a final five, with no in-state college included.

Up until mid June it looked as thought the Longhorns were going to be the team to beat for Creer's services. However, after they gave him a deadline to make a decision, he decided instead to move on.

"If they wouldn't have done that, Texas would still be one of my favorites," Creer said. "Now they are out of it and my top five are Tennessee, Oklahoma, Florida, Miami and Oklahoma State."

He's currently unable and unwilling to name a leader.

"I haven't made up my mind, to me they're all pretty much even until I take my visits. I haven't seen them all yet, but I've talked to the coaches enough that I feel they all offer what I'm looking for. Look at the great tradition all of them have."
