South Carolina's Brimfield Talks Tennessee
South Carolina defensive tackle prospect William Brimfield has seen his stock as a prospect take a big jump this fall. That rise up the rankings, coupled with his decision to de-commit from North Carolina has made Brimfield a very popular target among college programs, including Tennessee. Defensive line is arguably the biggest remaining need in a Tennessee class that is shaping up to be one of the best in the nation, and Brimfield would obviously make a solid addition to that class.
Brimfield (6-foot-5, 287 pounds), from Hunter-Kinard-Tyler high school in Neeses, S.C., originally committed to North Carolina way back in the summer. Like several other of his fellow Tar Heel commitments though, he decided to open things up and look around a bit once the powers-that-be made a coaching change in Chapel Hill.
