Ellis visits K-State

While Kansas State coach Frank Martin and his staff continue to look at prospects for the 2009 class, the eyes of a recruiter are always looking down the road, too. Wichita (Kan.) Heights freshman standout Perry Ellis is one of several targets the Wildcat coaches are recruiting for future years.

"Perry and I went up to Manhattan Saturday," Heights coach Joe Auer said. "We had a great time. We were shown the facilities and we couldn't have been there on a more exciting day. The enthusiasm of the students camping out for the game and then we sat there and watched about 4,000 of them rush to their seats at 12:30. It was just an exciting time to be there.
