Tennessee's men's and women's programs both typically find itself toward the top of the rankings heading into the NCAA Tournament.

Currently, both squads are in the projected field from ESPN's latest bracketology.

Here is where both currently stand.

Vols: 2-seed (South)

The Vols sit in the same seed as they did last week. They are projected to be the No. 2 seed in the South Region with a first-round matchup against 15-seed Quinnipiac.

Tennessee's opening match would take place in Charlotte with a Round of 32 battle against either 7-seed Michigan State (who the Vols faced in an exhibition) or 10-seed Colorado.

If the Vols earn a spot in consecutive Sweet 16s, they would travel to Dallas. The top seeds in the region that could be seen on the path to the Final Four are 1-seed Houston, 3-seed Marquette, 4-seed Illinois (who Tennessee has beaten at home) and 5-seed Oklahoma.

The SEC is represented by seven teams in this projection with the Vols at the top of the list.

Lady Vols: 11-seed (Portland 3) (Play-In)

After dropping out of most projections, the Lady Vols make their return to the field. However, it is a spot in the First Four In meaning they would have to play in a qualifying match to make the Round of 64.

This opening matchup would be against SEC foe Alabama whom Tennessee is yet to play. If the Lady Vols survive, it'd face 6-seed Oregon State. The host of the first two rounds is Ohio State who owns a 3-seed and opens the tournament with 14-seed Albany. Tennessee lost to the Buckeyes at home earlier this season.

Other top seeds in the Portland 3 region are 1-seed Colorado, 2-seed NC State, 4-seed Texas and 5-seed Virginia Tech.

The Lady Vols are one of eight SEC squads to have a spot in this projection.
