In his two seasons at Stanford, the big defensive lineman was a significant part of the rotation, posting 37 tackles, 5.5 tackles for loss and one sack.
In addition to bringing in proven experience at the Power-Five level, he possesses strong football genes, with his father playing college ball at USC. Moi is also a relative of NFL tight end Levine Toilolo.
He adds a nice touch to the splash of Polynesian talent inside the building, as well.
He adds even more depth to one of the deepest position groups on the Tennessee team, making the defensive line one of the strongest in the SEC moving into next season.
In ever bigger news than just adding him for next season is the fact that the 6-foot-2, 303-pound Moi has multiple years of eligibility remaining, meaning he will be a significant factor in the 2025 season when Tennessee is set to lose a majority of its defensive line to graduation.
While he is set to be a strong rotation option in 2024, he has the chance to be the leader of the group inside the following year, leading Tennessee to feel more confident in the future of their defensive line following this addition.
